Welcome to Safe Space, an application operated by ByCeli (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Safe Space mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Safe Space is a self-reflection, emotional support, and relationship-insight application. It provides AI-generated conversational support, journaling tools, memory tracking, and educational content.

⚠️ Safe Space is not a medical or mental health treatment service.
The App does not replace professional therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Not Medical or Crisis Support

Safe Space does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric services.
The AI does not diagnose conditions or provide clinical advice.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or emotional distress requiring immediate support, please contact local emergency services or a licensed professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content & Memories

You may input text, messages, reflections, and memories (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your content.
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide App functionality, including AI responses and memory features.

We do not sell your personal content.

6. AI-Generated Content

AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or complete.
You acknowledge that AI responses are informational and reflective only, not authoritative advice.
You agree to use your own judgment when interpreting AI responses.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for illegal or harmful purposes
Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the AI system
Upload content that is abusive, hateful, or violates laws
Interfere with App security or functionality

8. Intellectual Property

All App content, branding, design, and AI systems are owned by ByCeli, except for User Content.

You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the App without permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if these Terms are violated.

You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ByCeli shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
